   On October 1, 1949, the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China was held in Tiananmen Square in Beijing, marking the official establishment of the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China.
   October 1, 2025, marks the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
